The Church of St Anselm
During the early medieval period the Church was extremely renovated. The side walls were raised and in the upper part there are open semi-circular windows. Stone monuments were excavated at the beginning of the century from the church and those built into a nearby house, inform us about the interior of the church’s space. The way of finishing and the stone-cutting skill of some of the fragments of stone furnishing, show Pre-Romanesque characteristics. Chronologically they can be connected to parts of the masonry workshops from the period of Duke Branimir, in the second half of the 9th century....
