The Ancient Port in Zaton

In the glass display case are numerous remains of ship equipment, trading goods, fishing tackle and other materials which were either thrown or accidentally fell to the bottom of the ancient port of Zaton. Various ceramic and glass vessels, numerous cooking pots, lamps, coins, jewellery etc. belonging to the everyday objects in use by the ship’s crew or part of the ship’s cargo.

Among the exhibited objects, very rare examples of ceramics from Asia Minor, North Africa and Northern Italian workshops can be seen.
