Underwater archaeology

The shallow waters of the Nin bay and centuries of sand deposits have preserved a number of remains underwater, from prehistoric times to the Middle Ages. It is enough just to mention the huge port complex of ancient Aenona, located 1.5 km from Zaton, with the remains of three Liburnian boats as well as the discovery of early Croatian boats at the location Usta.
