The Liburnians were the most influential maritime power in the Adriatic and controlled the entire sea navigation. Seafaring and trade were strongly developed as well as the export of domestic products and the exchange of goods with the neighbouring (Histrians, Iapods and Dalmatae) and the Italic area (Picenum, Apulia). This period was the richest in the amount of material from graves and the import of various products.
