The Copper age or eneolithic
(2,500 TO 2,000 BC)
The only so far known finds from the Copper Age in Nin were found on the location of the forum and they consist of fragments of pottery. These are fine pieces of pottery decorated with moulded wart-like bulges (protrusions), zig-zag patterns, stamped triangles, pressed rings, etc. They are known to date from the Copper Age.
