The Museum of Nin Antiquities
At the end of the main street of Nin called Kalelarga, the Museum of Nin Antiquities is located. The work of the Museum goes back as far as 1910 when the archaeologist Don Luka Jelić in the interior of the Church of the Holy Cross, collected and exhibited the first collection of primarily stone artefacts.
After the War in Croatia (1991-1995) a thorough refurbishment of the building was undertaken. In the newly redone building seven separated rooms, display the archaeological materials from the past of Nin and the surrounding area: from prehistory, Roman, early Christian to early medieval period.
